The Dogwood Classic is our Annual Bible Roping. This is a 100% Free Team Roping for anyone and Everyone. Every year cowgirls and cowboys from all over come into Big Sandy to rope, eat some good food, Worship, and hear the Word of God! If you have not attended one be sure to come next year! Whether you are a roper or not this is an event for the whole family to enjoy!

2021 Dogwood Classic Bible Roping!! Beautiful day, cool and breezy. Our awesome band played some good ol gospel music, and a wonderful message by Jackie. Souls witnessed to, souls saved. Our mission field is the "arena dirt" . What better way to witness to folk of our walk "cowboys!!" Wonderful day at Dogwood Classic Bible Roping Event--2020 Even since the co-vi virus had everyone quaranteed this year, we had to reschedule the event and had it Memorable Day Weekend May 25, 2020. I think everyone was ready to rope and get out of the house and ranch. We had 450 teams sign up! Saddles given away to the top healer and top header. The band gave a fabulous concert I was so proud of them. Chad gave an awesome message. Praise God, He brought it through! I’ve never seen so many horse trailers, trucks and so many horses. Delicious bar-b-que from Mike and Stephanie Hill. Deserts by our ladies of the church. Thank all the Arena Team members and the Chuckwagon Team that helped and made it an awesome day!! Praise God for a blessed day for our church! 
2019 Dogwood Classic Bible Roping Event--
Was a great turnout, 288 Teams roping. I believe they enjoyed the bands for entertainment, Southern Crossfire Band and Committed Cowboy Band. Also, enjoying the barbque dinner brought to us by Longhorn Smokehouse. Special thanks to the Chuckwagon Team for serving it up. Beautiful day and wonderful time.

Great turnout for the Dogwood Classic Bible Roping 2017. Jason Norton from Kings Trail Cowboy Church gave the message. Again this year Bent Bucket Band played worship music. We had 225 Team Roping Teams, lots of delicious barbeque from Longhorn Smoke House.

What a turn-out we had at the Annual Dogwood Classic Bible Roping. We had the wonderful band Bent Bucket Band play praise and worship music, bringing Gods presence into the arena. You know the spirit is working when there are those to come forward and ask for prayer We had barbeque, potato salad, beans made by Micheal Hill at Longhorn Steak House in Big Sandy. If you've ever eaten there, then you know its GOOD! We had over 300 teams to rope, and the winners were presented with beautiful buckles and saddles Check out the pictures--by the way--thanks to those who took pictures. Makes my job easier. Wonderful turn-out for our 2018 Dogwood Classic Bible Roping.
The temperature was warm and sunny. Barbeque was delicious as usual, brought by Longhorn Smoke House..... and deserts were yum yum! Our house band played & rocked the arena! Chad Lee gave the message and several came forward for prayer, This is an awsome time to bring the message to some and to let them know that our FREE Roping is dedication to the " fees paid by Jesus" Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 Dogwood Classic Bible Roping. 1st Place goes to Curtis Day and Clay Sieber. 2nd Place goes to John Brosman and Kevin Day. 3rd Place goes to Tom Ward and Lynn Sullivan. ___________________________________________________________
